Zeynep Yener

---

Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, Zeynep Yener completed her undergraduate degree in International Business, minor in Marketing  from Northeastern University. While completing her undergraduate degree at Northeastern University, she gained CO-OP (Cooperative Education) experiences in finance, technology and public relations in locations such as Paris, New York City and Istanbul. 

In addition, Zeynep attended the New England Conservatory of Music for her classical piano education (1988-2000) and performed in over 100 recitals and workshops. 

After completing her undergraduate degree in 2005, she worked at the leading global advertising firm, DraftFCB located in New York City. 

In 2009, she moved to Istanbul, Turkey and began working at Bahcesehir University (BAU) where she established the foundation of CO-OP along  with creating the International CO-OP program. Zeynep received her Executive MBA degree from Bahcesehir University in 2013.

She was the Marketing Director for BBI (BAU Branding Innovation) operations in 2016, where she worked closely with Turkish-based companies such as “Simit Sarayi” and global companies like “Fendi”. 

In 2018, she was appointed to the BAU Global team where she was responsible for creating and executing all credited and certificate global programs. 

In 2020, she began her Ph.D. at the University of Plymouth (U.K.) in the field of Art History, taking a multidisciplinary approach by combing the field of arts and destination branding. In addition to her Ph.D. studies, she began creating her first documentary project within Bahcesehir University titled “Turquoise Unveiled”, based on her research studies at University of Plymouth. This docuseries is intended to be a cultural diplomacy project, that markets and introduces locations in Turkey through the field of the arts and its cultural heritage.  

In 2022 she began participating in "YapimLab" workshops established by award-winning Turkish film producer Zeynep Atakan, where she continues to flourish and grow in the field of cinema, including producing and directing.
